🇳🇵 Nepal Floods | An update from our team Our team has been on the ground this week, responding to immediate needs and assessing where support is needed most. So far, we have: • Visited two flood-affected areas to assess needs directly • Distributed toys and snacks to children • Delivered medical supplies and medicines to those in need • Mobilised 35 volunteers to clean and organise a facility supporting elderly and disabled people As needs on the ground change, our response is changing too. Our next phase will focus on supporting the approximately 1,137 people currently homeless across the two villages assigned to our team with essential shelter and household items. This week, over 10 volunteers joined us across two painting sessions, creating personalised bags that will soon be filled with sanitary pads and distributed to girls across Sub-Saharan Africa during our volunteer trips. Giving back can look like many things, but sometimes it’s simply spending an afternoon creating something that will be enjoyed by someone else. Want to get involved?
