We are excited to invite you to Time to Help Manchester Branch’s Fundraising Iftar this Ramadan. Your presence will bring warmth to the evening and directly support our humanitarian efforts.
Right now, over 21 million people in Yemen—nearly 80% of the population—are struggling to access food, clean water, and basic healthcare. The UN calls it “the world’s worst humanitarian crisis,” with millions of children facing malnutrition and preventable diseases.
This special evening will feature a Whirling Dervishes (Sema) performance and a mesmerizing sand art show, adding a spiritual and artistic touch to our gathering. Additionally, we will sell beautiful Ebru (marbling) and calligraphy paintings by talented artists, with proceeds going toward our humanitarian efforts.
While ticket prices help cover essential event costs like venue and food, your participation and support will still make a direct impact on those in need. Let’s come together, break our fast, and make a difference. 🌙✨

💧 Water Tank Appeal:
Water, the essence of life, is scarce for many in Yemen.
A large number of Yemenis lack access to clean water, depending on water tanks. Especially people residing in makeshift refugee camps.
A donation of £44 can supply water to 250 families every single day.
🥘 Food Parcel:
- Our Food Parcel is packed with essential items:
- 25 kg Flour

- 5 kg Sugar
- 2 L Sunflower/Cooking Oil
- 4 kg Dates
- For just £55, you can provide a Food Parcel that ensures nourishment for a family who desperately needs it.

The humanitarian situation in Yemen is one of the worst in the world. The conflict has caused a widespread humanitarian crisis, with millions of people in need of food, water, shelter, healthcare, and other essential services.
The main causes of the humanitarian crisis in Yemen are:
- The ongoing conflict between the Houthi rebels and the Yemeni government which has been going on since 2015.
- The blockade of Yemen’s ports by the Saudi-led coalition has prevented the import of essential goods.
- The collapse of the Yemeni economy has made it difficult for people to afford food and other essentials.
