Asylum seekers in the UK are staying in hotels for a long time. With their limited budget, they can’t afford to go out and socialise. This situation affects women more. As Time to Help, we organise ladies-only coffee mornings in the hotels and restaurants where they stay. With our volunteers, we prepare refreshments and chat with them. We also provide some arts and crafts for them to make during this time.
